The CD-N301 provide provide a DC-out connection for the YWA-10 WiFi Adapter (optional accessory). This lets you stream music wirelessly via a router from network components such as a PC or NAS. The YWA-10 gets its power from the CD-N301’s USB terminal on rear panel, and offers WPS (auto setup) or manual setup via PC.

The carefully considered interior layout includes an independent double power supply configuration for the CD and network power supplies, and provides the shortest circuit path for audio signal travel, allowing sound to be faithfully reproduced without loss of audio signal purity. Furthermore, all parts were rigorously selected, including the 192kHz/32-bit Burr-Brown high precision DAC, highly regarded for audio use. A Pure Direct mode can be selected for even higher quality audio output.

The CD-N301 has a power management function that detects when it hasn't been used for a long time (about 8 hours) even though the power is on, and automatically shifts it into standby mode. So even if you forget to turn it off, power consumption will be minimised.
