We are hiring: Music School and Store Manager

Reporting to: General Director

I. Job Description:

1- Overall purpose
• Open and maintain the smooth and effective running of the Music School and Music Instrument store
• Manage and develop staffs to reach sales target in music school and music instrument store
• Plan and organize marketing campaigns to enhance school and product awareness

2- Key responsibilities and duties

Music school management and development: (50%)

  • Students and teachers’ management
    • - Manage and update students’ data base
    • - Students’ problems solving and satisfaction
    • - Recruit, manage and develop teachers to achieve given KPI
  • Sales and marketing management
    • - Plan and organize marketing activities to enhance music school awareness
    • - Increase students’ registration and retention
  • Financial management of the school
    • - Control and monitor school budget
    • - Liaison with Finance & Payroll over the preparation of music school tuition fee accounts, and teacher salaries

Music instrument store management (30%)

  • - Ensure effective and smooth store operation
    - Recruit, lead and motivate the salespeople to reach store’s sales targets
    - Promote our customer service, and support or directly solve customers’ complaints
    - Do market research and analysis to forecast sales, and plan actions
    - Track and manage inventory
    - Estimate sales forecast periodically with analyzing market situation and action plans
    - Plan and run marketing campaign combined with Music School activities

Administration management: (20%)

  • - Design and implement retail shop & music school policies and procedures
    - Ensure all operations at retail shop & music school complied with the policies and procedures

Other tasks assigned by Line Manager

3- Required working experience

  • At least 5 years working experience, included at least 2 years in School Business Development at manager level

4- Required qualifications

  • BA degree in Business Administration/ Sales & Marketing

5- Required languages

  • English proficiency

6- Required knowledge and skills

  • Computer proficiency
  • Able to work independently and proactive
  • Strategic leader-ship and decision making
  • Customer-focused with effective customer-handling skills
  • Self – motivated, dedicated and integrity
